With race day 15 days away I am becoming more nervous and apprehensive rather then happy and excited. I went running today and completed a mile in about 12:20 but felt like I was going to die. Why do I feel like such a sled :( The first couple weeks of running felt amazing and now as time goes on when I thought it would get easier it feels like its getting harder. UGH! I will work to push through it and hope it pays off in the end. Any first time running tips are greatly appreciated!
As for everything else, I am making slow (very slow) progress. But I am very proud of my non scale victories. I have been drinking lots of water. I went to dinner last night with friends and they chose the Cheesecake Factory, I was a little worried about what I would eat for dinner but I think I made a good choice. I only drank water with lemon, I had one piece of the appetizer and for my dinner I ordered grilled mahi mahi, broccoli and sweet potato fries (they only had fries or mashed potatoes). And the most successful part of dinner is I walked away from the "Cheesecake" Factory with NO cheesecake!!! Yeah me!! Do you have a non scale victory to share? Let's hear it!
As for today I have drank 32oz of water so far, had a light breakfast, thinking about lunch options and all the chores and errands I have to run. Have a great day and I'll keep you posted on my long weekend successes.
